Entry Level Civil/Structural Engineer

We currently have an opening for an entry level Civil/Structural Engineer with details as follows:

Responsibilities:
– Prepare plans and calculations for demolition, erection, shoring, structural lifting, and other construction engineering designs
– Prepare and assist with bridge/culvert layout, design calculations, design report documentation, and environmental permitting
– Perform structural analysis for existing and proposed structures
– Perform analysis on custom rigging and shoring solutions and prepare plans.
– Perform and assist with site investigations and inspections. Prepare reports summarizing findings, and developing repair details.
– Work with senior staff on value engineering and accelerated construction proposals
– Periodic Construction Inspection for design projects

Requirements
– Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited)
– 0-4 years of applicable design and/or construction experience
– I.E.(E.I.T.) certification and/or construction industry experience preferred

H&T is looking for Engineers to work in fast paced, challenging and rewarding environment. Communication skills are important for both internal and external relationships. Proficiency with software such as Microstation and/or AutoCAD, Excel, Mathcad, and RISA are all preferred.
