Current Openings

Entry Level Civil/Structural Engineer

Responsibilities
– Prepare plans and calculations for demolition, erection, shoring, structural lifting, and other construction;    engineering designs
– Prepare and assist with bridge/culvert layout, design calculations, design report documentation, and
    environmental permitting
– Perform civil and structural analysis for existing and proposed structures
– Perform analysis on custom rigging and shoring solutions and prepare plans
– Perform and assist with site investigations and inspections. Prepare reports summarizing findings, and developing repair details.
– Work with senior staff on value engineering and accelerated construction proposals

Requirements
– Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited) 
– 0-4 years of applicable design and/or construction experience
– I.E. (E.I.T.) certification and/or construction industry experience preferred 

Communication skills are important for both internal and external relationships. Proficiency with software such as Microstation and/or AutoCAD, Excel, Mathcad, and RISA are all preferred. Civil/Structural Engineer

Responsibilities
 – Lead bridge/culvert design efforts, working directly with entry-level engineers, including bridge/culvert layout, design, design report documentation, and environmental permitting
– Ability to prepare work zone traffic control plans, associated permits, and coordinate with stakeholders
– Prepare and check plans and calculations for demolition, erection, shoring, structural lifting, and other construction engineering designs
– Assist with training entry-level engineers
– Lead project design efforts with regard to budget, schedule, and direction of other team members
– Perform structural analysis for existing and proposed structures
– Perform analysis on custom rigging and shoring solution and prepare plans
– Lead site investigations and inspections. Prepare or direct the preparation of report summarizing findings, and developing repair details
– Assist senior staff with project management tasks

Requirements
– Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited) 
– 4-10 years of applicable design and/or construction experience
– Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain soon
